Randy Rogers Band — Buy Myself a Chance
Here's how I play the walkup from E to C#m. Right after I strum the E chord two times.... E]------------------ B]------------------ G]------------------ D]------------------ A]------0-2-3-4----- E]--0-4------------- I don't know it that's right but it sounds fine to me. The other thing I wanted to point out was the F#,G# and A chords in the 3rd line of the chorus. I think he plays these in power chords, and then does a little walkup to the B chord... FGA E]------------------------------------------- B]------------------------------------------- G]------------------------------------------- D]-------4------6------7--------------------- A]-------4------6------7------0-1-2---------- E]-------2------4------5--------------------- All the other A chords are played like a normal A chord Intro: CECEm Verse C#m E I've been watching you stare at the floor C#m E That guy's got two left feet C#m E I might be wrong but I think you're bored A B You look like someone that I'd like to meet I could walk over and say hello I think I need one more drink It's lookin like you're getting ready to go Gotta find something to say now let me think Chorus A B E Well if things don't work out by the next song A B C#m and you're lookin for someone who can dance F# G# A I'll be right over here by the jukebox B A B E With a quarter in my hand, trying to buy myself a chance Verse Saw my reflection in an empty glass So I rehearsed my line I aint lookin for trouble I know you came in here with him tonight Chorus Bridge C#m A Well here goes nothing, I hope its something B Walking across the floor C#m A Cross my fingers, I tap your shoulder and I say B Ive never done this before Chorus
