This rendition of "Heart Attack" is based on the "Official Video" from VEVO that I watched, which is currently available on YouTube. I have been educated in music theory and ear training. I thought it might be fun to apply my skills to pop music. This is one of many songs I've analyzed. I would firstly like to point out the Cm7 chord and Fm/Bb. Just in case you didn't know already, Fm/Bb simply means that you play all of the notes of an F minor chord, and you add a B flat as the bass note. I carefully listened to song, and Cm7 seems to be a more appropriate match for the chord played in the Intro and Background Lick. I suppose it could be substituted with an Eb chord to be consistent. However, the notes played in both of those parts are C, Eb, G, and Bb, and those are the notes that make up a Cm7 chord.
