I Feel the Same - Bonnie Raitt
ADAD
Say Goodbye, well I know it's true
ADAD
I know you're leavin' me, well I'm leavin' too
DD
You won't forget me, or the sound of my name
DCD
Please believe, I feel the same
ADAD
It seems so empty now, you closed the door
ADAD
Ain't it hard to believe that you ever lived this way before
DD
All that nothing causes all that pain
DCD
Please believe, I feel the same
ADAD
Well you're a broken soul, and I know a heart that's breakin'
ADAD
You can't make it whole, until you know what has been taken
DD
All those pieces, I'll let you find them on your own
DCDADAD
Say Goodbye, well I know it's true
ADAD
I know you're leavin' me, well I'm leavin' too
DD
You won't forget me, or the sound of my name

Please believe, I feel the same

Please believe, I feel the same
Notes: There are only three chords in this song. The performance of it comes down to
your rhythm (strumming) and sense of dynamics to give it the flavor it deserves. It needs
your best slow blues shuffle, and of course some pain in your voice.
You can play it with open chords and palm muting, but I find it sounds best playing
fifth-position barre chords (muting is easier), and sliding up to them quite often.
